Introduction

⬥ There are 4 types of dinosaurs (slayer monster), all of which are found on Anachronia:

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎• Brutish dinosaurs - 99

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎• Ripper dinosaurs - 114

⬥ Dinosaurs are only assigned by Laniakea and CANNOT be placed in the player owned dungeon.

⬥ All of them attack with

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎• This makes the best style to use against them , followed by

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎• should not be used for any dinosaur tasks.

Desirable Drops

All dinosaurs have the same drop rates for unqiues and Totem pieces. It is thus recommended to kill Venomous Dinosaurs if your level is high enough as they have the highest KPH.

Venomous dinosaurs are the go-to for dinosaur tasks as they have the highest kills per hour of any dinosaur.

Location and How to Get There

Venomous Dinosaurs are located on the northwestern part of Anachronia. They can be accessed by 3 methods, arranged fastest to slowest:

⬥ [1] Anachronia Teleport to a Totem of the Abyss placed on the north totem pedestal (red path)

⬥ [2] Lodestone teleport to Anachronia (keyboard shortcut "Alt + D"), run to the Orthen teleportation device, teleport to Outpost (keyboard shortcut "O"), and run west (blue path)

⬥ [3] Lodestone teleport to Anachronia, and run north (yellow path)

Where to Stand

Place the cannon on the yellow square and stand on the green square shown in the image below. This effectively aggros 5 dinosaurs. This works for all three methods.

Method: Active and AFK Melee

To prevent taking too much damage, is helpful, as you will be praying . If using the Corbicula Rex perk from the Ranch out of Time, excess adrenaline can be used in the form of the or if actively slaying, rotating between these greatly increases the damage dealt. This method provides ~450 KPH if done semi-actively.

Note: It is assumed certain abilities such as , and are accessible on other action bars, or ability books, for manual use if actively slaying. The player may also prefer to manually cast if needed.

Method: AFK Magic

Thanks to the Venomous Dinosaurs' higher affinity to (and susceptibility to ) and damage reduction provided by and Cryptbloom Armour , can achieve a similar or slightly higher KPH than melee at ~480 KPH, while being both very safe and AFK.

Method: AFK Necromancy

Thanks to Necromancies sustain with and , as well as its strong aoe damage potential with and , it can effectively AFK Venomous Dinosaurs. Around 450-470kph can be achieved on task with this method while being safe and AFK with low input costs.

Other dinosaurs

It is only recommended to kill other dinosaurs if you do not have the level for Venomous dinosaurs or if collecting their souls in . Bars for all these dinosaurs might be sub-optimal, if you find a better bar please make a post in #suggestions.
